Hola! I’m Natalia Arévalo, a filmmaker and producer from Bogotá, Colombia, based in San Francisco, California. My work focuses on stories rooted in culture, identity, memory, and music, often told through a documentary lens. I’ve collaborated on projects for HBO Max, Paramount+, Netflix, A+E Networks, and others.
Some of the stories I’m most proud to have worked on shine a light on the Latine experience, including the News & Doc Emmy-nominated® series UNVEILED: SURVIVING LA LUZ DEL MUNDO and MENUDO: FOREVER YOUNG, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. I’m drawn to work that feels intimate, honest, and grounded in real experience, whether it’s a documentary series, a branded short, or an independent production.
I’ve led crews across borders, managed complex shoots and timelines, and produced film festivals and events throughout the U.S. and Latin America. I speak Spanish, English, and French, and I’m learning Portuguese out of a lifelong curiosity for language and the cultures it carries.
I’m always looking to collaborate with artists, creatives, and storytellers who care about meaningful work; projects that resonate, challenge, and connect.
